Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to SimpleGantt WBS. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the work breakdown structure builder located at https://wbs.simplegantt.net (the “Service”).

By using the Service, with or without an account, you agree to these Terms.

SimpleGantt WBS is part of Simple Gantt and uses the same account. Your use of the Simple Gantt application at simplegantt.net is additionally governed by the Simple Gantt Terms of Service.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you may not use the Service.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

By using the Service, you represent that:

• you are at least 13 years old;
• you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms;
• the information you provide is accurate.

4. User Accounts

An account is optional. You may use the builder without one, in which case your work is stored only in your own browser and never reaches our servers.

Work kept only in your browser can be lost at any time — by clearing your browsing data, by using the Clear button, by browser or device failure, or by private-browsing rules. We hold no copy of it and cannot recover it. Create an account if your work matters to you.

You may create an account using:

• email and password; or
• Google Sign-In.

One account covers both SimpleGantt WBS and Simple Gantt.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

You agree to:

• provide accurate information;
• keep your information up to date;
• notify us of unauthorized access to your account.

5. Team Collaboration

Work breakdowns in SimpleGantt WBS are private to the account that created them. SimpleGantt WBS does not offer sharing, invitations, or shared editing.

Simple Gantt does allow users to invite others to collaborate on projects, including any project you send there from SimpleGantt WBS. Collaboration is governed by the Simple Gantt Terms of Service, under which the owner of a subscription may designate other users as collaborators or co-owners, collaborators are not required to maintain paid subscriptions, and the account owner remains responsible for subscription payments and team management.

6. Free and Paid Plans

SimpleGantt WBS is provided free of charge. We do not currently sell paid plans for SimpleGantt WBS.

Simple Gantt offers both free and paid plans, and sending a project from SimpleGantt WBS to Simple Gantt is subject to the limits of your Simple Gantt plan. Descriptions of current plans are available on the Simple Gantt website.

Features and limitations may change over time. We reserve the right to add, modify, or discontinue features at any time, including making SimpleGantt WBS a paid product in the future. Any such change will be announced in advance and will not apply retroactively to work you have already created.

7. Subscription Billing

This section applies to Simple Gantt subscriptions. SimpleGantt WBS itself is free and is never billed.

Paid plans are billed monthly.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the next billing date.

Payments are processed securely through Stripe.

By subscribing, you authorize Stripe to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.

Prices may change in the future. Any changes will apply only to future billing periods.

8. Cancellation

This section applies to Simple Gantt subscriptions.

You may cancel your subscription at any time.

Cancellation prevents future charges but does not affect the current billing period.

After cancellation, your account may continue under the applicable free plan limitations. Your access to SimpleGantt WBS is unaffected by cancellation.

9. Refund Policy

This section applies to Simple Gantt subscriptions.

Except where required by applicable law, all payments are final and non-refundable.

No refunds or credits are provided for:

• unused subscription periods;
• partial months;
• unused features;
• downgrades;
• cancellations.

10. User Content

Users may create and store:

• projects;
• tasks;
• subtasks;
• exported images and documents.

Users retain ownership of their content.

You grant SimpleGantt WBS a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, display, and store your content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. This license applies only to content you save to an account; content kept in your browser is never transmitted to us and is not covered by it.

Sending a work breakdown to Simple Gantt copies your content into that application at your request, where it is held under the same license on the same terms.

11. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• violate applicable laws;
• upload malicious code;
• interfere with the Service;
• attempt unauthorized access;
• infringe the intellectual property rights of others;
• upload illegal or harmful content;
• use the Service for fraudulent purposes.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

12. Intellectual Property

SimpleGantt WBS, Simple Gantt, and their software, design, trademarks, logos, and content are owned by Maciej Dębiec and protected by intellectual property laws.

These Terms do not grant users ownership rights in the Service.

13. Availability of Service

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We do not guarantee:

• uninterrupted availability;
• error-free operation;
• continuous access;
• compatibility with every device or browser;
• that work stored in your browser will still be there on a later visit.

Features may be modified, added, or removed without prior notice.

14. Project Planning Disclaimer

SimpleGantt WBS is an informational and project planning tool.

Users remain solely responsible for:

• project decisions;
• the scope and structure of their work breakdown;
• timelines;
• deadlines;
• assignments;
• resource allocation;
• execution of work.

SimpleGantt WBS does not guarantee:

• successful project completion;
• achievement of business goals;
• avoidance of delays;
• completeness of any breakdown you produce;
• any particular results.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Maciej Dębiec and SimpleGantt WBS shall not be liable for:

• lost profits;
• loss of business opportunities;
• project failures;
• missed deadlines;
• loss of data, including work stored only in your browser;
• indirect damages;
• consequential damages;
• business interruption.

Your use of the Service is at your own risk.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Maciej Dębiec and SimpleGantt WBS from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising out of:

• your use of the Service;
• your violation of these Terms;
• your violation of applicable laws;
• your infringement of third-party rights.

17. Account Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Users may delete their accounts at any time.

Unless deleted by the user, account and project data may remain stored after subscription cancellation.

18. Privacy

Use of the Service is also governed by the Privacy Policy.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time.

Updated Terms will be posted on this page together with a revised “Last Updated” date.

Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

20. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of the Service shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Poland.
